From the General Manager...
Dear Friends, The largest room within the Fitness Center will be devoted to the latest aerobic and weight equipment. Another room has been specifically designed to accommodate all of our fitness-oriented classes. Four treatment rooms, including one double room for couples, will allow us to offer massages and facials to our guests. The Fitness Center's spacious lobby features a lovely river rock fireplace, a comfortable sitting area as well as an expanded retail space and because of our guests' ever-increasing need to go online and access e-mails, we have also created another “guest office” within the Fitness Center. Finally, a redwood deck on the outside of the building will be an ideal place to “cool down” after your workout or to just spend some time relaxing. We’re sure you will enjoy the many facets of the Alisal Fitness Center & Spa on your next visit. 
Alisal Lake is now home to a pair of nesting Bald Eagles and their two offspring. What’s so special about these two birds and their two eaglets? Over 40 years ago, our national symbol was on the brink of extinction. The American Bald Eagle, Haliaeetus leucocephalus, which was once found throughout the lower 48 states, living by lakes and rivers and feeding mostly on fish, small mammals and carrion, was on verge of disappearing forever due to habitat loss, indiscriminate hunting and a pesticide. Guest Services The Guest Services employees who work in the Fitness Center will assist you with services that extend far beyond that facility. You will recognize several of them from other departments on the Ranch. They will be able to assist you with sign-ups for any of the activities we offer, with the exception of horseback riding. In fact, they will be prepared to sit down with you at the beginning of your stay and map out a complete activities agenda for the entire time you are with us.
