Bringing Guest Stories to LifeFinally, the opportunity to share your Alisal vacation... photos, comments & video!
Now Alisal Guests can easily share their stories using Flickr, YouTube and the Alisal website.
Here's How to Share Your Alisal Photos on Flickr
1. Email webmarketing@alisal.com
- Include 5-10 of your favorite, high quality photos taken at the Alisal
- Include a very short description for each photo
- Include the month & year the photos were taken
- Include your name, city and state in the email
- Optional: Include a paragraph about what the Alisal means to you - see new Guest Experience page below for instructions.
2. Check-out the Alisal Flickr photostream

- Join Flickr to post comments on your pictures as well as post comments about other guest pictures
- By joining, you can also join groups and be a part of the larger guest ranch/horsebackriding/golfing/fishing/etc communities...

New Guest Experiences Page ~
We would like to compile some of our guest's experiences and display them on the Alisal website.
Here is how to participate:
- Email one paragraph and include:
- a summary of what the Alisal means/represents for you and/or your family
- a unique or special experience you had here
- a quirky story that you just have to share
- or
- a poem about the Alisal
- a summary of what the Alisal means/represents for you and/or your family
- Include your name, city and state in the email
- Optional: How many times have you stayed at the Alisal? How many generations has your family visited the Alisal Guest Ranch?
What About Video?
We are looking at adding featured videos to the Guest Experiences page as well.
Here are the requirements:
- Create a video no longer than 90 seconds
- The video must be interesting for any audience
- Think funny, quirky, unique
- The video can be shot anywhere with content about the Alisal or actually filmed at the Alisal during your stay
- Upload your video via YouTube and send us the embed link (please DO NOT send the video to us)
- Instructions on how to use YouTube are on their website. (It is much easier than formatting the video yourself. They format it for you when you upload it.)
We are gathering your guest experiences both in text and in video but the page WILL NOT be completed until we feel we have enough to create a great new section on our website.
** By emailing your text or video embed link, you are agreeing to allow Alisal to use them on our website as we see fit. Text will be edited for spelling, grammar, and clarity when needed. Not all Guest Experiences or video will be posted on the website.**
