"... Erminia's family and friends built the original adobe during 1935 and 1936 when the Alisal was owned by C.E. Perkins. Along with her sons, Angelo and Tom Jr. who were ranch hands and cowboys, Erminia worked for the Alisal through the change of ownership to the Jackson family in 1943 and continued living year round at the adobe until the mid to late 1940's..."
