Robert Scarpati
Head Golf Professional
Robert J. Scarpati Jr. (also known as Boo) has been in the golf business for the past 15 years: 12 years in Vail, Colorado and the past 3 here at the Alisal Ranch Course. He grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley.
After high school, he moved to San Diego and attended Mesa Junior College. Upon receiving a two year degree, he continued his education with a business degree in Business Management at the San Diego Golf Academy. He then became an Assistant Golf Professional at the Sonnenalp Golf Club located in Vail, Colorado. His seven year tenure at the Sonnenalp helped him to become the First Assistant at the Cotton Ranch Club, also located in the Vail area. During his four years at the Cotton Ranch Club, he was elected Colorado West Chapter Assistant of the Year for 2000, and in June of 2000 was elected as a P.G.A. member.

Nick Pease
Assistant Professional
Nick was born and raised in Niantic, IL. He got started in golf as a junior golfer and decided to make a career of it by attending the San Diego Golf Academy located in Phoenix, AZ. While in Phoenix he worked at Troon North Golf Club and Southern Dunes. When Nick graduated from the SDGA with a Golf Operations and Business Management Degree, he took the opportunity to become an Assistant Professional for the River Course. Nick is aspiring to become a PGA member. He has been employed at the River Course since March of 05’.

Andrew Howie
PGA Apprentice Assistant Professional
Andrew is a native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Andrew came to the River Course in July of 05 from Dallas Texas where he worked as an event coordinator with the Re/ Max World Long Drive Championship team, teaching the big hitters in golf for for two years. Prior to that Andrew attented the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, CA., where he earned a degree in professional golf management. Andrew recently finished tied for medalist honors at his PAT tournament and will be entering the PGA program in March of 06.
