Santa Barbara Golf Resort - Ranch Course
Designed by the legendary Billy Bell Jr., the Ranch Course, open since 1956, is exclusively for guests and members. This par-72 course stretches for 6,500 yards and is distinguished by tight fairways. It is surrounded by venerable oaks, sycamores and eucalyptus, and was designed around an imposing barranca that winds through the entire course. The Ranch Course features a well-appointed pro shop, full-service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and excellent practice areas. Dave Hartley
Ranch Course Head Professional
Dave Hartley, Ranch Course Head Professional is a Central Coast native graduate from Lompoc High School in 1980. Attended the University of California, Davis and graduated with an Agricultural and Managerial Economics in 1984. All conference baseball player switched to golf after college. Started golf career at the Alisal Guest Ranch in 1992 with the opening of the River Course at Alisal. Turned pro in 1993, played Golden State Tour events for a couple of years, and became a P.G.A. Member in 1997. Employed by the Alisal Guest Ranch for the past 12 years as a golf professional in charge of daily operations and tournament administration. Created the Santa Ynez Junior Golf Association for kids ages 6 - 17 complete with year round tournament schedule as well as teaching programs and camps.

Jerry Preuss
Assistant Golf Professional
Jerry has been a PGA Member for 30 years with experience in Public, Private, Resort and Military golf operations. He has also played on both the PGA and Senior PGA Tours. Jerry is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS in Business Management. He has completed numerous PGA Educational and Teaching Seminars. He has been employed by the Alisal Guest Ranch since 1998.

Green fees are $135 for 18 holes, which includes a cart and range balls. Reciprocal fees for other private club members are $135. Nine hole and twilight rates are half-price.
